Just found the publication of the European Union of 2016 that lists the animal - and plant species that can invade Europe and that should be watched as possible dangerous plants and animals for Europe. It includes the next ant species:

Solenopsis invicta
Solenopsis richteri
Solenopsis geminate
Wasmannia auropunctata
Pheidole megacephala

They also indicate that Ph. megecephala is already introduced in Europe......

I did forget to put one species in the list. It is:

Pachycondyla chinensis

Just to show that scientists are also human (some think we are a different species...) and are capable to make human mistakes:

Bison bison, the American bison, is referred to as "the American bison" but also a few times as "the European bison", a totally different species......
